Franchise Website Design

This project involved a complete audit and proposed redesign of the Smoothie King Franchise website.

Problem

The previous website struggled with low engagement and a poor user experience. Its site was confusing to navigate and forced users to click through too many pages to find information. The design was inconsistent as well, didnt really work great on mobile, and relied too much on text instead of visuals to convey their messaging. Techincal issues also slowed down the site hurting its overall performance.

Solution

Our solution was a total overhaul of the site. We designed a new architecture to streamline the user journey and get people to key pages faster. We ended up cutting a lot of pages and moving that information to other pages where it was more streamlined and a bit shorter. The above site arch shows the new proposed site and shows where we have consolidated a lot of pages.

For consistency we focused on global styling and made sure that was all setup properly. The site included an updated art direction which really improved the look of the site. We wanted to lean in to the new art direction, especially on mobile, and focus on the new visuals to tell the brand's story. With the new build came a fresh start and a fix to all of the technical issues from the previous build.
